WELCOME new, returning, and prospective members. General
meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from September through
May, at 7:00 pm at the Downingtown Senior Center on Business Route 30
across from Wegmans.
Activities abound; some you might enjoy are: antiquing, book discussion,
bridge, bunco, canasta, chick flicks, cooking, gardening, golf, lunching,
Mah-Jongg, pinochle, scrapbooking, travel, walking, and wine tasting.
Everyone has gifts to share, and your talent, interests, and fresh ideas are
always welcome. Who knows, you might even begin a new interest group!
Your energy, expertise, and creativity will find an outlet in Club projects to
"fun raise" for local charitable organizations. A Basket Bingo is the Club's
largest annual "fun raising" event, and it's gratifying to award proceeds to
several local groups each June.
Central Chester County is rich in history and culture, and you'll never run out
of things to do. Your Newcomers Club is the place to hook up with a buddy
to discover and explore Central Chester County's unique charms.
Whether you're planting deep roots or enjoying a temporary stay, the
